So I have not been blogging for a while, why you may ask. I came back to school from Christmas Break. I was just waiting for classes to start and then boom it all happened in a split second. Any way came back went to school and just went to classes I have a lot on my plate but, nothing to hard to handle. So We are in the month of February and I Love this month. One of the main reasons is becauseValentines Day is the Holiday this month. Valentines Day is like Christmas to my Girlfriend and Myself. We give gifts. This year I gav my Girlfriend some Flowers, a Card and an iPod Nano Touch. I was proud of that gift you should have seen the look on her face, it was priceless. So i got hugs and kisses. I was called the best boyfriend ever I don't know about that quite yet. I like Valentines Day because, it is not a day where you and your significant other give gifts, No we give them to people who actually care and love you. Love comes from the heart and the nature of your well being. On with the day of this glorious holiday I kept getting little gifts every hour of the day. They were cheesy but i enjoyed every minute of it. So on with it we had dinner and I got my gifts. I received a new jacket from Aeropostale and a Nerf Gun. I was really excited two great gifts and a wonderful girlfriend. Valentines was a success and I enjoyed it.
So later that week we had really nice weather sunny and warm. I didn't need to wear my coat I wore my jacket and sometimes a t-shirt. i was like awesome weather. I am quite ready for the snow to be gone and melted away. I don't mind the rain I love it obviously. So we have this nice wonderful day blue skies, fresh air, the wildlife on campus is coming out to play and look around. Evening time falls onto the campus and I was playing Call of Duty Black Ops online with my two younger brothers. We decided to play Nazi Zombies. I personally think it is creepy when your playing in the dark and I jump easily. So we are playing Nazi Zombies and it is getting really intense. All of a sudden after a round I look out side. I see a white out blizzard. I am used to them because it is common where I live. So we continue playing the heat of the game is intense I have the ray gun and a huge MP60 machine gun and enough ammo to blow the hell out of the zombies. All of a sudden we are getting backed up into a corner and we are hacking away at the zombies, my head set communicator is loosing it's signal and cutting out. The lights start to flicker on and off. then you can just hear it coming the power shuts down. BLACKOUT! we had no flashlights and we where looking for a source of light. Knowing myself and how nerdy I am, I decided to bring out my laptop and pull up the app called fire place. I mean hey it gave us light and a relaxing sound of a fire place. Amand had given me a tea light candle for Valentines so i turned that on to give us more light. We settle down in our room. At the time Austin and his Fiance Britney where hanging out with us. Britney realized that she forgot her stuffed animals Gerard. Now don't ask me why she has a stuffed giraffe named Gerard. So she was saying I want him to cuddle with. So my Twin Brother and I said lets go on an adventure. I took the tea candle for light so we could see down the hall. It was pitch black you could not see at at least a couple feet in front of you. So we go out from our apartment and blast through the blistering wind and scorching blizzard. It was windy. We ran to the next building over and could not see up the stairs. I felt like a nerd when i brought my little candle out to light the way for some people and they followed. We reach the floor we are suppose to be at. We look inside the door and only the exit sign was still on. The whole hallway was red talk about scary so we booked it to the apartment and got the stuffed animal and went back to our place.
By the time we got back i was excited and worked up and appetite. So i grabbed some chips and snacked on them. We finally settled down and the storm was still brewing and we could hear the wind go on and on. The power came back on around 12:00am or 1:00am in the morning. So we walked the ladies back made sure they where safe and then went back home relaxed and went to sleep. All i can say what an eventful week. I realized how much we Human Beings rely on electricity. I like black outs I think they are fun but I also like my electronics to work. Will I like another black out well not for a while but next time it should rain and be really epic and hardcore.
